Welcome to Donnersbach
First mentioned in 1190 AD Donnersbach is a historically grown municipality
From Roman times until the present day Donnersbach has been a municipality, which again and again has drawn attention. Especially the unique settlement structure of the 80 farmers who work the mountain slopes imprint a splendid picture in the valley. These farms are arranged in 3-4 tiers at an altitude of between 700 m an 1300 m.
Since 1996, Donnersbach has been given a new appearance due to projects like the reconstruction of the village square, the sports and leisure park, the general restoration of the "Schlosskirche" (Castle-Church) and the restoration of the old ruins of holy "Ägydi".
The Planneralm near Donnersbach is already an existing archery center, 1.600m-2.000m above sea-level. 3,5km length in 3D-courses, 33 - 3D targets, 3 spiritual places and an amazing
and fascinating landscape.
